County lawyer

I have a citation and misdemeanor in Butte count but live in Santa Clara. I would like to expunge it. Should I use a local Butte county lawyer or can I use a Santa Clara lawyer.

It is better to use the current country lawer means if you are from Butte count but currently in Santa clara so better use santa clara lawyer.
